“Route 28 off Route 128 in Randolph is a very busy thoroughfare — lots of traffic, businesses, hubbub, if you will.  It is not where you think of for an escape, some therapy, and relaxation.  But if you stop at 1191 Main Street, turn the corner at the top of the stairs, and open the door, that is exactly what you will find. You walk into a wonderfully peaceful atmosphere and are greeted warmly and professionally. But that’s not even the best part.

The best part is when you have the massage you have scheduled. Personally, I have had my massages with Tonya, but there are others who I am sure are equally as capable, because otherwise, I’m sure Tonya wouldn’t have them there.

There are multiple kinds of massage offered. My preference is Deep Tissue massage and Tonya is terrific.  I’ve had massage at other places and some of them have no clue.  She finds those knots, some you don’t even know you have, and works them out. She works as tough as you want and finds your threshold, and she finishes each motion in a way that ultimately gives you a relaxing experience.

If you have questions, she answers them; wonder why something hurts or is tight, she helps you figure it out; she has even given me help in finding exercises to do to stretch certain muscles to try to prevent injuries from being repeated. To me, her approach seems holistic rather than just to provide “momentary” relief.  My tough area is my neck, and I can tell you there is such a difference in the range of motion I have between the time I walk in and when I walk out.  I feel straighter and taller than before I walk in, too, and I have told her we should measure before and after. lol

Oh, and there is time to relax after your massage on her comfy couch, to gather your head before you walk back out, for me a little taller, into the hubbub of our busy lives.

“I just had a deep tissue massage with Tonya. Such a great massage and her practice is a really relaxing, pleasant retreat. The waiting area looks like a nice living room – comfy couch, nice decorations. Tonya gave me a warm welcome, offered me refreshments and went over my client intake form to ask about my medical conditions, etc.

The room itself was not your typical sterile massage suite. Lots of candles, a bubbling fountain and soothing music set the stage for a great massage experience. During the massage, Tonya asked about pressure levels and gave me some tips for acupressure points to help relieve the stress headaches I mentioned on my form. Tonya was the perfect balance between friendly and professional. I mean, you’re naked. You want someone who makes you feel comfortable and relaxed. Tonya was really great.

I got a great New Client kit, describing all their massage offerings and their loyalty benefits. If you’re looking for a massage therapist in the Randolph/Quincy/Braintree area, I highly recommend Tonya at Wings. Her office is located just off 93 at Exit 5a so it’s really easy to get to.

“When you first get there I was a little unsure, because I was not sure how to find it, but once you walk through the door you are immediately pampered.  Tonya starts with offering water, tea, or a fruit smoothie.  Then when you walk into the massage room you are in a tranquil oasis.  You feel so relaxed and comfortable.  Before Tonya began her massage she told you step by step what she does.  She always makes sure you are comfortable and that the pressure is not too much.  She took her time and made sure when you left you were beyond relaxed. When my massage was over I thought I was going to pay and see her another time, but to my surprise she was not done.  She showed me some exercises to show me how to keep my muscles loose, she gave me a new water bottle to make sure I drank enough, and a \”Welcome Packet\” that provided all the information I would need about her, the spa, promotions, everything.  I totally would recommend her and I can’t wait to go back.”

“I have never experienced what I experienced at Wings. It was a caring, relaxing, and educational moment. This woman really loves what she does and it’s not about the money. It’s all about you and what you want and how you’re feeling. Its a nice small, cozy, and welcoming environment. Once that door closes you feel like your in another world.  I had the Swedish Massage, with a little Deep Tissue Massage in some needed areas (that she took her time to deal with), and an amazing Thai Herbal Ball Treatment that just topped it all. I had never heard of it and decided to try it and I’m glad I did. I would highly recommend it over the Hot Stone Treatment, which I had tried before (at another location) and wasn’t crazy about it. I will be going back and plan on sending over other people for the experience I had at Wings. The place is easy to find, it’s on a main road literally and also close to a major highway. “This little place south of Boston was a real find for me. The name caught my eye when I was searching for massage therapy online. I didn’t expect to find this little gem but boy am I glad I did! Wings only has two treatment rooms and a reception area but the place is spotless and beautiful. As soon as I stepped through the door I felt at home. The place smelled divine, and the sound of gentle music and the water fountain put me at ease – I was so relaxed I’m sure I drifted off several times. I was stressed out and experiencing upper back and neck pain when I stepped through the door but the excellent massage I got melted it all away. When I left I think I was floating on air. Small wonder the place is named Wings because I left feeling like I had them! My massage therapist was also the owner and she is a sweet, kind person. I felt like she really cared. “I have really bad back pain becuae of a car accident years ago..when I left I could touch my toes and I’ve been walking on air for at least two days now so I can’t say enough about this place in Randolph. It was the best massage I ever had and I’ve had a lot. I know this was my first time there but it won’t be the last.  I don’t know if there are other therapist and if so whether they’re as good but I know I’ll be asking for Tanya again because she had the perfect touch. I love deep tissue massage but I usually get swedish because I’ve found at most spas the pressure is the same for swedish or deep tissue – just that deep costs more! I’m usually disappointed with the pressure when I get deep, but her pressure was perfect. She adjusted it according to my feedback and I have to say it was by far the deepest I’ve had. She found and released knots I didn’t even know were there until she pressed on them….now that’s what I call service. I will definitely be back.”
